Gwenllian Lloyd Davies

Pwllheli, Gwynedd

Gwenllian Davies is a dedicated 17-year-old from Lleyn Peninsula, currently studying her first year Level 3 Agriculture at Coleg Glynllifon.

Raised on her family’s dairy farm, where around 340 autumn-calving cows are milked daily, and through work placements on other dairy farms, she has developed strong practical skills and a deep-rooted understanding of animal care and farm operations. With hands-on experience in milking, feeding, bedding, and general livestock welfare, Gwenllian plays an active role on the home farm while balancing her academic studies.

Gwenllian has undertaken various agriculture-related training courses including quad biking, tractor driving and first aid. She is a reliable, punctual team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and enjoys using her initiative in problem-solving and day-to-day decision-making on the farm.

An active member of her local YFC, Gwenllian enjoys supporting her local community through club activities and increasing her knowledge through farm visits.

Excited about being part of the industry’s future, Gwenllian is eager to develop new skills and explore future career opportunities.
