Lucy’s current caseload is comprehensive, focusing on private client matters with a particular specialism in the agricultural sector. She advises clients on and drafts a wide array of wills, including simple, mirror, discretionary trust, and life interest trust wills, as well as Lasting Powers of Attorney and Partnership Agreements.

Lucy is proficient in strategic tax planning, including the implications of Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT). A significant part of her work involves the full administration of complex estates that include agricultural, property, and business assets. She also handles trust matters where the firm acts as a professional trustee and advises client trustees on various issues. A key aspect of her approach is sensitively dealing with issues related to client capacity.

Within the firm’s agricultural sector, Lucy is actively advising clients on their succession planning, especially in light of the upcoming changes to inheritance tax in April 2026. To provide comprehensive advice, she works in conjunction with other internal departments and external professionals such as Chartered Surveyors, Land Agents, Accountants, and Financial Advisors.
