Before starting my own business I trained as a bag designer, owned and ran an art gallery and studios in London, managed an umbrella factory, and worked as an assistant zoo keeper.  Now I work in many different areas, offering consultancy services and advice to various businesses and organisations in production, design, sales, marketing and distribution.

My business interests developed further when I became a wheelchair user as I designed, produced and sold products for disabled people.  I set up one of the first e-commerce websites in Wales in the 1990s.

Being my own boss allows me to be as independent as I want; opportunities don’t keep a 9 – 5 timetable, and to succeed you have to take them however they turn up.  I set up and have been running ResponsABLE Assistance for ten years – being successful in business has enabled me to run and expand this not for profit organisation.
