I attended Cowbridge Grammar school, but was not given the opportunity to go to University and married at a young age and went on to have 3 children. During this time, my husband owned an Estate Agency business, and I fancied doing something for myself.
I decided to start my own business - selling scarves, jewellery and accessories, this was in 1993. I found that a great deal of people liked my products and so I then decided to get involved with the corporate side of things, supplying jewellery, men's ties, scarves and wraps to cruise ships.
"Do your market research, and make sure that all is in place prior to starting your business."

My main motivation was my husband, I always enjoyed watching him achieving his goals in his own business, it gave me a buzz to watch.
My business has developed and expanded greatly, I also have a property development company that was established 8 years ago.
I enjoy developing new ideas, and the most challenging part about being your own boss is starting a new project.
