Tarafdar Studio is an International design studio specialising in brand identity design and communication consultancy. We work with a global client base from NYC, LA and the UK.

The studio was founded by Bangladeshi Welsh designer Ibby Tarafdar, with his mission to inspire creativity and raise awareness for good design in Wales especially within the BAME community.

Our work ranges across all aspect of visual design from logos, apparel, social media strategy and brand development and communication consultation.

During my time in college and university I was always designing bits of graphics for friends and family. As the word spread across Cardiff I started to gain a steady flow of clients. After graduating from University South Wales in Visual communication in 2016, I decided to turn my passion into a career.

I always had a genuine interest for design and most of my design inspiration came from the USA. During 2017-2020 I spent a lot of time traveling between Wales and USA working with clients. Coming back to Cardiff I realised the Welsh design industry lacked creativity, life and more importantly diversity, I felt compelled to lead the way and make a change.
