Why have one career when you can have three? Having previously been a Social Worker and University Lecturer, I quit my 9 to 5 job in 2013 to go on an epic road trip across America with my partner in crime Samantha Evans to uncover the secrets of American BBQ, and to meet Dolly Parton. In just 5 years we won the BBC Food & Farming Award for Street Food, published our first cook book and opened the Hang Fire Southern Kitchen restaurant in the seaside town of Barry. In 2017 we filmed the first series of our up coming BBC TV show- 'Sam and Shauna's Big Cookout'. You gotta’ like meat to like me!
