Being made redundant at 40 after constantly delivering for a number of International businesses at a senior level and in an extremely competitive and at times cut throat market, I had my first real taste of running my own communications consultancy business and the challenges this involved.

The big difference with our current business is that I work alongside my personal and business partner who's skills and attitude compliment mine and in whom I have trust and faith that what we continue to jointly build requires us to be innovative, proactive and resilient and despite setting up in a recession, extremely rewarding and worthwhile.

Hard won successes provide us with the hunger to move our business forward the knowledge that when a client is especially pleased it is down to our efforts alone is really motivational. 

I am a great believer in where there is a will there is a way. I have learnt how building people up and helping them to achieve their full potential reaps far greater rewards in the long run than going all out for personal and financial gain.

I want to give something back, to inspire, encourage and to be supporting of the youth today. I will tell it as it is, however rather than dash hopes always come back to finding a positive way forward. I have mentored and been mentored and believe that sharing experiences can be one of the most powerful ways to grow as an individual and as an entrepreneur.
