I set up the Riverside Community Market Association (RCMA) in 1998 after first setting up an organic vegetable stall in Canada. Since then it’s grown to become one of the biggest in Wales, with several spin-off markets also opening up.  RMCA has also now moved into the evening street food market, with the aim of creating friendly community spaces. I also set up its schools outreach programme.

There is no special ability or talent to becoming an entrepreneur - just a determination and a willingness to work hard, and to plan your business well.
