Why Lea would be an effective mentor
Brought up on a smallholding in Carmarthenshire, Lea is now a smallholder herself, managing sheep, pigs and chickens. In 2021 she diversified, setting up a successful agri-tourism glamping venture. Since then, she has used her knowledge and skills to help farmers and landowners develop their own glamping and camping sites across Wales.
She set up her training company over 20 years ago and as an experienced multi-sector provider, she now specialises in planning business, financial and marketing management as well as compliance training.
Approved by Farming Connect and many other accredited organisations, she has a proven track record of supporting and inspiring farmers, landowners and businesspeople to develop the skills and ideas they need to achieve their potential and add value through developing, diversifying, strategic marketing or changing the direction of their business.
Lea also works with families wanting to step back from day-to-day farming and has experience of succession planning and share farming. She has an established network of contacts and networks that she will be happy to share with you to help you and your business progress.
Driven by her mission to enable all her clients to ‘focus, achieve, and turn dreams into actions’, Lea combines her personal experience of setting up and developing her own successful businesses alongside an impressive professional background.
A skilled and friendly communicator, Lea prides herself on her ability to not only identify business challenges but she will help you find solutions too. Expect unbiased, confidential support and guidance with constructive, honest feedback.
She has extensive experience of delivering one-to-one and group workshops via face-to-face or blended options of training, to both well established and start-up businesses. She has worked with sustainable, profitable projects ranging from meat box sales, tourism and glampsite ventures to honey production, horticulture, Christmas tree plantations and more.
Lea will listen to your personal perspective on where your business is now and your goals - nobody knows that better than you! She will then help you explore options and alternatives that may encourage you to broaden your expectations and plan your next steps.
