    • Remote sensing work underway to assess the current condition of the woodland and support targeted interventions.
    • Woodland management plan outlines strategies to enhance biodiversity, improve tree health, and promote regeneration.
  • Exploring Planting Opportunities
    • Ongoing discussions about planting opportunities, including agroforestry practices such as:
      ■    Individual trees within pastures.
      ■    Enhancing existing hedgerows.
      ■    Establishing shelterbelts to provide shade and wind protection.
    • Any planting initiatives will align with farm needs, focusing on practical benefits such as increased shelter for livestock and improved environmental resilience.

Next Steps

  • Complete felling licence application and initiate any approved works.
