Tom Greenham, Advance Milking discusses a recent project done with Farming Connect.

In 2019, Farming Connect commissioned a milk quality study in partnership with Kite Consulting, South Caernarfon Creameries and Advance Milking. The aim of this trial was to establish whether using a ‘risk identification’ at a single, half-day visit could give improvements in milk quality.

Tom Greenham covers:

  • How the project was run?
  • The key risks that were identified on the 29 farms involved in the project.
  • What changes in milk quality were seen over the period of the project?
