This year the Bootcamp will take place from the 24-26 November 2017, at Margam Discovery Centre, Port Talbot. Applications are now closed.

Have a clear passion for entrepreneurship
The business will be set up in Wales
Have either started in business in the last 6 months but not registered with the Revenue and need support to register your business properly and grow OR...
Have a clear idea you want to commercialise within 6 months of the Bootcamp.

We will check your eligibility. See if you meet the criteria for the Bootcamp under Who's it for?
We will notify you if you have made it through to the next stage within 2 weeks of submitting an application.

Successful candidates will be contacted by one of our friendly Business Advisers to arrange to meet up and discuss your idea.
You’ll have a one to one session with a Business Adviser to offer support and see if you‘re ready for Bootcamp.
If the Business Adviser feels you are ready for Bootcamp, then your application will go to a panel of experts. You will then be informed if you have successfully secured a place at Bootcamp, whilst working with your Business Adviser to progress your idea.

The Bootcamp to Business will be an exhilarating weekend where you can expect to receive:
Tailored workshops, covering the business basics through to developing and advancing skills.
Coaching from experienced entrepreneurs, from a variety of start-up backgrounds.
Invaluable networking with successful business men and women, along with like-mind young people.
The ability to gain access to further business support, to develop your idea or start-up.
Before and after Bootcamp, participants will be invited to attend regular workshops to help support your business journey.
Participants will also receive continued support from our role model network of amazing entrepreneurs.
If you’re ready to launch your business, then the Big Ideas Wales Bootcamp to Business will enable you to expand your knowledge and the essential skills needed to be ‘business ready’.
You will have the chance to grow your connections and meet amazing people that have been there, done it and succeeded!
You can gain access to the exciting and intensive 3 day business Bootcamp PLUS additional entrepreneurial support like no other.
During the Bootcamp we will equip you with the business essentials to set up, manage and grow your business - from marketing and finance to business planning and employing people.
You can also expect to meet established entrepreneurs from all walks of life. During the weekend you will have plenty of opportunities to pick their brains, grill them for tips and gain behind-the-scenes insights, which will help get things going for yourself!
And it doesn’t stop there...
You can keep the momentum going by tapping into further business support on offer to you.
You could receive entrepreneurial coaching and other practical support from joining our business community, who are committed to helping enterprising young people succeed.
Even if you don’t make it to Bootcamp, you will still receive direct feedback from our Business Advisers and our panel of experts on your business and Big Ideas Wales will help you access the business support that you need.
