Carys started her first business 12 years ago in Asia. She recently established The Business Pod and MyHRCrew at M-SParc on Anglesey offering business change, coaching and HR solutions. She also runs Capacity2learn Ltd, an IT support and solutions provider in Leicestershire.

Previously, she spent 3 years overhauling the family garage door business on Anglesey and was a Director for the Llangefni Social Enterprise. Carys is also a national award-winning canoe coach with a passion for introducing families to the joys of canoeing and expeditions. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she had international career in IT and HR for a number of multi-nationals. Carys is a Welsh speaker and is happy to discuss business bilingually.

Carys is an experienced business woman who has worked across diverse sectors ranging from education and schools to quarrying and mining. She has achieved culture change in big businesses and helped drive major infrastructure project but has also coached and mentored small local companies and helped them raise their game and develop their potential. One of her main achievements is assisting a major local charity through a steep expansion programme and helping it through its growing pains and setting new horizons and ambitions. Carys has a strong track record with individuals. She’s a qualified NLP practitioner and some of her most successful achievements have come from coaching individuals and helping them through challenging situations or being there alongside t them while they build their business from dream to reality. Carys has worked across Europe, Asia and the Middle East and has managed to succeed in different cultures and across international barriers. She’s now returned home to Anglesey where she is making a major impact in assisting local start-ups in driving their ambition and helping more established names refresh their outlook to take on the challenges of the new business arena.
