I went to the University of Southampton where I took a BA in Geography then onto Cardiff for Masters in Education and finally a Ph.D at University of Cardiff specialist in Business Management. I always wanted to teach/university Lecture.

It doesn’t matter what background you come from, you can develop a successful profitable businesses.

QMS – is a training and Consultancy Company and was established in 2001.

Before establishing my business I was a teacher and University Lecturer. I was motivated to start my own business through 2 factors, mainly having "a good idea" and having the necessary skills to manage my own business through academic qualifications and managerial experience.

Watching a TV programme in a pub with some friends on Agri-foods industries in Europe, they came to Wales and said we did not have an Agri-foods industry, despite having quality foods, so I thought, Why not Wales? I did research and it went from there to the multi million pounds business it is today.
