I set up Atom PR in 2002 when I was 22, fresh out of university.  I’d been working for a local PR company during my gap year and freelancing whilst studying for a degree and masters in politics.  That experience was invaluable and gave me the confidence to start my own business.  My parents joined as translators and three years later my sister came on board as co-director.

Have a clear vision of what you’re trying to achieve and revisit that vision regularly.  Only by knowing in what direction you’re trying to go can you make sure you’re on the right path.

We now provide PR services for all kinds of different clients, from Commonwealth Games Wales and Grosvenor Estate to energy companies, local authorities and businesses in Wales and further afield.  Running ATOM has given me the opportunity to travel and meet interesting people from all walks of life. One of the highlights has definitely got to be helping to get the Rift Valley Festival in Kenya off the ground.
