My husband and I run Swans Farm Shop & Ffrith Farm in partnership.  We diversified and set up the shop in 2003 due to poor and unpredictable returns from the farm. The business has grown continually over the last 12 years and has been a privilege to be part of.  We farm 200 acres in North East Wales,  where we have cattle, pigs, free range hens, bees for our own honey and we grow hay, silage wheat & barley to feed our livestock.

I had to close the business temporarily some years ago after injuring my back in an horrific car crash, but we reopened due to demand from our loyal customers.  I love what I do, though running your own business does take up every waking breath!
