I grew up as a working-class child on a steel working council estate in South Wales. When the opportunity to travel came around, I took it, and ended up spending a lot of my career working internationally, away from Wales.
I worked in industries such as Media and Publishing, Trading Funds and Higher Education, as well as studying for an MBA at a London business school, before returning to Wales to establish Gareth John Consulting in 2006.

We initially worked with organisations in Wales and the UK, before expanding our horizons to work internationally in countries such as Kenya, South Africa and even Saudi Arabia.
