Based in Cardiff, KM is one of Wales’ longest-standing bloggers and a member of the Guild of Food Writers. Established in 2010, her blog, The Rare Welsh Bit (www.therarewelshbit.com) focuses on food and travel from Cardiff to as far afield as the Caribbean. This includes recipes, restaurants, travel destinations, attractions, transport, accommodation and more.

Kacie and her blog have been featured by the likes of BBC One, BBC Wales, BBC Radio Wales, Mail on Sunday, Metro, Blogosphere Magazine, Sainsbury's Magazine, Co-Op Food Mag, Cardiff University’s Cardiff Connect alumni magazine, WalesOnline, Western Mail and Cardiff Life Magazine.

In 2018, KM received an award from Grenada Tourism Authority for her blog and social media coverage of Grenada Chocolate Festival. Her blog was also shortlisted as one of the top 10 UK food and travel blogs in the Post Office Travel Blogger Awards.

With a background in journalism and over 11 years' experience in writing and editing, Kacie also writes on a freelance basis for the likes of The Sun, Visit Wales, Sainsbury's Magazine, Co-Op Food Mag, Around Town Wales Magazines and Cardiff Life Magazine.
