When I left school I became a full-time technician at Theatr Felin Fach where I had the opportunitiy to present, record and edit programmes for Radio Ceredigion.  After that I joined BBC Radio Cymru, and have now been a radio presenter for 17 years.

Try to think of a unique idea; and make sure you have plenty of stamina; Get lots of advice on starting a business.

My company – StiwdioBox – offers a wide range of bilingual services aimed at engaging, motivating and entertaining audiences through the use of the latest media technologies. This includes school radio workshops to radio station installation, podcasting to youth engagement programmes, as well as corporate work.

I love being my own boss because of the freedom it gives me. Eventually I hope to expand the business over the border.
