I lived in London and built up a very good business in the fashion industry. The recession of the 70’s came along and I decided it was time for a lifestyle change! I moved to North Wales and started making and selling chutney from home. That is when I came up with the name ‘Patchwork’ because I used a piece of patchwork on my jars. The chutney was popular and it was selling but wasn’t making the income I needed. After some inspiration on what to do next I started making and selling pate. That has now developed into the Patchwork Traditional Food Company. We sell our products worldwide and I even supply a major airline!
You must set out with the vision of always doing the best you can. ‘That will do’ is not an option for me.

I drive myself through my own beliefs and passions but I also look to a mentor. I think it’s very important to learn from other people who are the best at what they do.
