Leisure Industry - paintball site and manufacturing arm which produced clothing and ancillary items.

Retail Sector - Gift wrapping business selling to WH Smiths and Boots the Chemist.

Small print shop - design and small print runs in full colour

IT Project Manager for: Welsh Water, Procter & Gamble, M.O.D, I.B.M, worked as Senior Project Manager (IT) for: BBC Wales BBC Bristol & BBC London.

Manufacturing - Manufacturing kitchens for Social Housing.

Pallet Maintenance company working directly for Rockwool Ltd

Property management company and developer.

All the above has given me a different job title but most importantly, different roles and experiences in the business world. From working long, and sometimes unsociable hours, to working with a small and large teams; each factor has contributed to my knowledge and understanding of business. I’ve had to work for others, and with others but now I’m in a position where I can say that I work for myself.

Being free to make my own decisions must be one of the best things about being by own boss.

Knowing that both my successes and failures are a direct result of my actions. Success or failure is in my hands. If I wanted to succeed, I had to work hard.

I’ve had too many problems to list but as the great playwright Samuel Beckett once said, "Ever tried, ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better." These are words that entrepreneurs embrace every day, as each failure is a chance to start over and be better. Every failure is a learning experience.

My top tips for young entrepreneurs are to believe in yourself and enjoy the journey. Remember every mistake you make is a stepping stone to success.
