Philippa Tuttiett - Female Builders and Interiors

I have a TV show with UKTV; DIY with Philippa, have starred in Channel 4’s ‘The Renovation Game’ for three series and have recently filmed ‘My new Home for 5k’ with channel 5.

It was after studying for my degree in BA Communications at Cardiff University, and my love of working in the building industry that inspired me to start my own business. I want to inspire more women to see it as a great career option.

My first year in business was tough, but I learnt a lot. I did the marketing and admin and all the building work myself, until I slowly started taking on other women and the business grew.

I love being my own boss, knowing that the harder you work the more successful you will be.
