Seth is Director of an Event and Film Production company, and a pioneering consultant in the emerging field of ‘Relational Activism’ through Four Bars.
He is a founder member of the ‘Future Matters Collective’, Cardiff, and a sought after business and motivational mentor for Young People.
Heading up Fizzi Production Limited, Seth has over 25 years’ experience working in Event Production, from large scale Corporate events to grass-roots initiatives, and everything in between.
Initially specialising in large scale theatrical events, at times directing thousands of children and young people at any one time, he also spent five years as a young person’s advocate for some of society’s most vulnerable children and YP. In positions that often require a wide spectrum of skills, it is Seth’s almost supernatural ability to meet people where they’re at, which comes to the fore.
In his busy career, Seth has led work for organisations including Camden Council, Tros Gynnal Plant, Newport, Science Shops Wales, Wales Millennium Centre, Arts and Humanities Research Council, Economics and Social Research Council, Promo Cymru, The Royal Albert Hall, and Welsh National Opera.
More recently, Seth’s consultancy work enables him to blend his extensive Events experience, with his passion for both creative methods and social change.
Through FIZZI, and more recently through the relaunch of the Four Bars brand, Seth works with clients to create:
Whole person-centred design and delivery Arts-Based and Action research programmes, with and for a diverse range of people.
Non-hierarchical presentation, not representation.
The creation of ‘safe spaces’ for participating, witnessing, and “undistorted communication” (Habermas).
True and integrated relational values.
Strengths based production values at every stage of the project.
Seth delivers workshops worldwide, including at: “Constructing Social Futures”, (University of Turku, Finland) “Anticipation” (Oslo, Norway) “Promising Futures” (Goldsmiths, London)...
