Nail Divas was set up with a £350 grant from the DWP.
I started as a lone mobile nail technician but within a year I had 14 working for me. As a former teacher I soon established our training arm, which teaches in some of the largest nail companies in the UK, and to international competition level.
I have also started up a charity, Fourteen-A, which aims to bridge the gap between the industry and colleges, offering courses for the most hard to reach individuals.
