I was 20 years old when I decided to start my part time business. I wanted to be independent and find a way to be able to make my own money.
I wanted to really challenge myself and be able set my own hours. I love to have creative control over the business and to have responsibility for success even in difficult times.
I spent the first few years selling on local craft fairs not realising how good my product was! Then I decided to start selling on big trade shows which helped my product to sell nationally.
