  • Member Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE)
  • FACTS qualified.
  • MSc Cranfield Institute of Technology – Agricultural Engineering (Soil & Water Option)
  • HND Harper Adams Agric. College Agricultural Engineering
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Operate as an independent consultant.
  • Developed the MLC (BPEX) Environment Team and programme and expanding that work to form the AHDB cross-sector Environment & Buildings Team.
  • Have identified new technologies and facilitated implantation within the UK, e.g., Slurry bag storage, slurry acidification, slurry cooling.
  • Identified important work streams and implemented programmes to address knowledge gaps for farmers and their advisers.  This includes ventilation of livestock housing, drinking water supply and quality for livestock, implementation of regulatory regimes.
