Your manager
Eurig Jenkins is the fifth generation of his family to farm Pentrefelin. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside Eurig, a progressive and ambitious dairy farmer who recently took over the family business through the Young Entrants Support Scheme. Eurig has driven a significant expansion and infrastructure development program. He has successfully increased cow numbers while ensuring long-term profitability. A graduate of Gelli Aur and Harper Adams with six months international experience working in New Zealand and commercial experience in procurement, Eurig has also benefited from three years as a Farming Connect demonstration farm, gaining access to expert advice. He is a recognized high-achiever, having recently been the winner of the FWGS All-Wales Big Bale competition, and is a regular contributor to Farmers Weekly, where applicants can read his recent articles to learn more about the farm's operations online. Eurig values continuous learning, actively participates in the Merlin discussion group, and is open to new ideas and technology, creating an ideal environment for new entrants to gain hands-on experience and develop their farm management skills.
