Why are you an effective Advisor?
- Richard was brought up on a dairy farm and qualified as a vet in 1995. As well as working as a practising vet for most of the time since qualifying, he has done epidemiology research and worked for the then VLA doing post-mortems and related field and lab work. He is a trained mobility mentor.
- Richard is able to bring his experience of epidemiology and pathology together with years of clinical experience to deal with a variety of herd health issues.
He has delivered a number of farm workshops and webinars and is involved in implementing the Cow Compass scheme for farms supplying Ben and Jerrys.
