About the landowner:
We are a proactive couple who are passionate about farming with nature.
We are looking for like-minded people/person to set-up and run a diversification element to our business. We are open minded to ideas, we are considering areas such as horticulture, poultry, pigs, etc.
At busy times of the year we will request assistance with our dairy herd e.g. calving, moving cattle if needed. All training can be provided on site. Our dairy farm focuses on high animal/soil/microbes’ welfare. The business is fully organic and pasture for life certified. Cows are milked once a day, all season long. We sell 100% grass fed beef direct to consumers and local establishments. We use homoeopathy and natural herbal remedies on stock and soil.
There is the potential for the right person(s) to set up their own business alongside, with guidance and support from us. This business is not established yet, but a diversification business that could possibly be in areas such as horticulture, poultry, pigs etc., but not sheep.

My goals for the next 5 years:
- To secure a business with like-minded people so we can enjoy the fruits of our labour
- Too produce healthy products from our organic farm making use of all our assets
- Have time for a holiday
About the farm:
Land area available: 494 acres / 200 hectares
Infrastructure available: Dairy unit for 200 cows and young stock
Livestock available:
- 190 milking cows - Jersey cross Friesian cows
- 60 in calf heifers
- 95 bulling heifers
We are spring calvers, and have a contract with Calonwen milk and Teifi cheese.
Machinery available:
- 1 large tractor and loader
- Smaller tractor
- 1 telehandler
- Grassland harvesting equipment - rake, tedder and mower. Contractors are used for the picking up
- Yard equipment
- Quad bike
Accommodation for the seeker: Yes. There is a cosy attic barn conversion available with a wood burning stove and it is fully furnished.

About the opportunity:
What type of agreement are you considering? Self-employed contract for services.
We are looking for someone to set-up and run the diversification side of the business. This has not yet been established, and could be in areas such as horticulture, poultry, pigs, etc. They will also be able to help out on the dairy side, and training can be provided. There is potential for this role to progress into a farm partnership agreement in the future.
