The new Agrisgôp Programme, which will be rolled out in a phased delivery  from 1 October 2015 will include:

  • Traditional grass roots groups

Which bring together like-minded individuals keen to find new or improved ways of working or new streams of income.

  • Themed groups

Which bring together a group of individuals all wanting to focus on the same topic. This could range from providing added value or finding new markets for breeders and producers to improving water quality or investing in renewable energy.

  • Business-driven action learning groups

Which bring together a group of individuals all wanting to focus on a specific agri-business driven goal or objective.

Your role will be to recruit individuals from farm and forestry business to join your group, to arrange meetings and to facilitate discussion between members and other appropriate mentors so that they can learn through the process of ‘Action Learning’.

Your key remit will be to encourage your group members to embrace entrepreneurship into their day to day business practices and to investigate or develop new business ideas.
