This is a 1- day training course with a certificate awarded following completion.

Focusing on cattle handling you'll learn to develop safer, more efficient and more profitable systems when working with your livestock. You'll spend some time indoors discussing the issues and factors of better livestock handling, with time on the farm to look at moving cattle and handling systems. The course will look at; why good cattle handling matters, main issues and factors resulting in accidents, benefits of good cattle handling, animal sense, moving livestock efficiently and the design of cattle handling systems.
