This course is a 3-hour training workshop and a certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the workshop. Workshops are delivered by local vet practices pan Wales. 

Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to increase knowledge on the causes, detection, monitoring, treatment and prevention of clinical and sub-clinical mastitis in dairy cows. This will include discussion on methods to detect and monitor mastitis, identification of risk factors in the cows’ environment and milking parlour and biosecurity and biocontainment measures required to prevent mastitis pathogens entering and spreading within herds.
