This course is a 3-hour training workshop and a certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the workshop. Workshops are delivered by local vet practices pan Wales.

Workshop attendees will learn about the clinical signs, transmission, diagnosis and monitoring of BVD. The main focus will be on the significance of Persistently Infected (PI) animals in disease transmission, and the biosecurity and biocontainment measures that can be taken to minimise the risk of BVD entering a naïve herd, and reduce the spread of disease already on farm.
Prevention of the introduction and spread of BVD will result in increased herd health, productivity and profitability.
