Focus Site Project: Implementing Sustainable Control of Parasites in Sheep (SCOPS) and getting to grips with Faecal Egg Counting (FEC)

Project aims:

  • Ensure that anthelmintics used in the flock are effective, avoiding/minimising any resistance issues.
  • Be pro-active in gaining professional advice to obtain appropriate treatment, thus a successful business.
  • Run a healthy and productive flock.
  • Lessen financial and labour requirement.
