•    Oversight of the Health and Safety at Work Act, and the legal Responsibilities of an FWM
•    Understanding Hazards, Risks and Controls
•    Commissioning competent contractors, planning and managing the work
•    Supervision of health, safety and welfare and environmental standards on a worksite.
•    Promotion of a “safety first” culture; incident, accident and near misses

1.    Understanding the role of the Forest Works Manager:
