Before applying for business planning or technical advice available through the Farming Connect Advisory Service, you will need to:
- Register with Farming Connect - each individual applying for the Advisory Service will need to have received an email or letter from Farming Connect confirming their registration.
- Check your eligibility for the Advisory Service.
- Select the application route which applies to you or your group (see below).
How to apply
There are 5 routes to applying for the Advisory Service. Consider all 5 options, then select the one most relevant to you and follow the simple step-by-step process which applies.
- Route 1
I have a Business Plan completed through the previous Farming Connect Programme (2007 – 2013)
- Route 2
I have a Business Plan which I arranged privately (not through Farming Connect) or drafted myself

A business can access advice on a range of specific issues up to a maximum of 4 times, depending on eligibility, throughout the duration of the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.
