Hywel Morgan from Myddfai will visit Sweden, France and England
Sheep farmer Hywel Morgan from Myddfai in Carmarthenshire has just been accepted to the Agri Academy Rural Leadership Programme so 2018 will be a busy year. Hywel's vision is to make his farm less dependent on bought in inputs and to work more with nature. He recognises the need to change and is considering converting to organic production and herbal leys which will align his business with what he believes consumers want going forward.
“I plan to visit farms in Sweden, France and England who practice holistic regenerative management, organic production and herbal leys to see whether it could work on my own farm and other similar farm businesses in Wales.”
