Grass Covers at Dolygarn

The table below shows the average grass covers and measurements recorded at Dolygarn Farm from March to August, 2019.

Below shows a graph of the grass covers (from the 8 main productive paddocks in the rotation) currently at Dolygarn versus the demand of the stock.  As you can see from the graph, the supply of the actual grass covers exceed the demand of the stock, therefore showing that Dolygarn is understocked during the grazing summer months.  Informed decisions to either make more silage or increase stock numbers must now be taken to ensure grass quantity and quality isn’t lost.
