Farming Connect aims to provide informative, relevant, innovative support, guidance and knowledge transfer to farmers and foresters across Wales.

The priority areas of Farming Connect include Climate Change, Biodiversity, Forestry, Red Meat, Dairy, Grassland, Arable, Horticulture, Organic Production, Pigs and Poultry.

Now Farming Connect is calling on you, farmers, foresters and rural residents of Wales, to have your say!

To ensure that it provides the best possible service, you are invited to share your opinion and ideas regarding the Farming Connect programme. Join in one of three locations across Wales to meet with Eirwen Williams, Menter a Busnes Rural Affairs Director on a one-to-one, 20-minute appointment basis at three livestock markets across Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to be heard and to share your feedback.

Eirwen Williams, Director of Rural Affairs at Menter a Busnes said:

“We are eager to hear your opinion about the programme. We want to know what’s being done well, in your opinion, and what we can improve. We would like to know what, in addition to what exists already, would you like to see as a part of this programme. To receive feedback from the farmers and foresters of Wales is crucially important as they, and their businesses, are a priority to Farming Connect.

“By attending these feedback events, you could contribute to shaping Farming Connect in the future, as well as agriculture in Wales.

“We are looking for constructive feedback, so come along and share your ideas and feedback with us!”

Therefore, if you have an opinion on Farming Connect, and wish to share your new ideas about what we could offer as part of the programme, or if you would like to inform us on what doesn’t work as well, or an element that deserves recognition in your opinion, come along – we want to hear from you and look forward to seeing you.

For more information or to book your place for a 20 minute appointment between 09:00 – 15:00, contact Caryl George, 01970 600 161,  – booking a place is essential.
