Are your farm records up to date? Do they satisfy current scheme and legislative requirements?
If you don’t know the answer to these questions, or even if you just need reassurance that you are on top of all your farm paperwork, you may benefit from attending a Farming Connect record keeping surgery.
Arranged at locations throughout Wales, you can book an hour-long, completely confidential, one-to-one appointment with a member of the Farm Liaison Service team who will provide you with support and guidance on any record-keeping issue including Glastir, stock movement and records and medicine records.
Eirwen Williams, director of rural programmes with Menter a Busnes, which delivers Farming Connect on behalf of the Welsh Government, said the surgeries have been arranged in response to feedback from development officers, who said that many farmers have voiced concerns that they may not be up to date with record-keeping requirements.
“Attending one of these fully funded surgeries will give you the guidance and support you need and you’ll have the opportunity discuss any concerns you may have,” said Mrs Williams.
All surgeries will run between 10am and 5pm, with the last available appointment at 4pm. Places must be booked in advance. To book an appointment contact Catrin Lloyd on 029 2046 7418 or email: catrin.lloyd@menterabusnes.co.uk
