Farming Connect is looking for farmers and contractors who want to master their on-farm nutrient storage and management practices ahead of the new water regulations, becoming muck management-ambassadors for the rest of the industry in Wales.
Master slurry is limited to 15* places; therefore, to participate, farmers and contractors need to show good understanding and experience on the use of one of their key on-farm resources. Successful participants also need to be committed, and willing to contribute to a high-level workshop that is led by two independent industry experts.
In order for us to gauge each participant’s individual situation, please complete the following questionnaire. The answers will be kept anonymous and will ensure our Master slurry speakers and facilitators tailor the sessions based on the needs of each successful applicant. If you are not successful this time in securing a place on the workshop, don't worry – you will be signposted to relevant services, advice and training offered through the Welsh Government's Farming Connect programme.
Each participant will need to confirm that their business has a valid (max five-years-old) Nutrient Management Plan.
