Foliar fertiliser application is an alternative method providing fertiliser nutrients directly to a plant’s leaves compared to most solid or prill fertilisers which are incorporated through the soil via the plant’s roots. This can lower inputs with higher targeting to reduce fertiliser quantities and costs.
