This is 2 day practical training course with a certificate of training issued upon course completion.
Hedgerows are an important part of our landscape, as a boundary, shelter and so our wildlife can flourish. They need to be planted and laid in the right way, so they grow strong and survive. This course has been developed for you, as an individual or for your land-based business to give you the necessary basic skills to plant and maintain your hedgerows. It will run ideally between leaf fall (November) and before the bud breaks (March). You will run through some theory but there will be lots of practice at hedge laying and its upkeep. Course sessions: safety guidelines, tools, hedge species and basics, demonstration and practice.
Please note that the outline, duration and image for each course are a guide only. Please contact the training provider for more information.
