If you don’t have any qualifications yet, you will get the opportunity to develop job specific skills at Levels 1 and 2.
If you already possess qualifications at Levels 1 and 2, you will be able to upgrade your skills so that they are relevant to the needs of the employer.
You will have the opportunity to progress in specific sectors, including: energy, construction, creative industries, science, advanced manufacturing, ICT, automotive engineering, financial and professional services, food, care and tourism.
SO2
The Skills for Industry (SO2) programme will provide you with the opportunity to gain qualifications at Level 3 and above, helping you upgrade your skills so they’re relevant to the specialist skills employers need.
It will give you the opportunity to help you progress in specific sectors, including: energy, construction, creative industries, science, advanced manufacturing, ICT, automotive engineering, financial and professional services, food, care and tourism.
Ownership: Joint sponsorship between Gower College Swansea (as the lead sponsor), the four other colleges that make up the South West Wales region, Coleg Sir Gar, Coleg Ceredigion, Neath Port Talbot and Pembrokeshire College with Swansea University and University of Wales Trinity St David.
