The Wales Federation of Young Farmers Clubs are a dynamic and accessible voluntary youth organisation for people aged 10-25, operating bilingually throughout rural Wales. They support young people to become successful farmers, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens.

 

 

Careers Wales

Careers Wales provide free and impartial career information, advice and guidance services for young people, adults, parents, employers and professionals in Wales.

Prince's Trust

The Princes Trust works hard to create a brighter future for 11 to 30 year olds in Wales, enabling them to enter jobs, education and training.

Innovate UK

Open to 18-30 year olds from a wide range of backgrounds who are simply looking to take their ideas to the next level, applicants to our new Young Innovators Programme will quickly receive advice, guidance and the chance to get access to funding to help to turn their ideas into reality.

Arts Council of Wales

Arts Council of Wales is an independent charity, working together with the Welsh Government. One of their projects, Creative Learning through the Arts, aims to increase and improve arts experiences and opportunities in schools, deliver on improving literacy, numeracy, and reducing the impact of disadvantage.

Business in the Community

Business in the Community is a business-led, issue-focused charity. They support young people, particularly those in challenging circumstances, by aiming to bridge the gap between the classroom and the world of work, and to ensure Wales gets the skilled workforce it needs for the future. 

Chwarae Teg

Chwarae Teg works to help ensure that women in Wales can enter the workplace, develop their skills and build rewarding careers. They work closely with young people and youth organisations on gender-awareness programmes, helping educators understand gender from a child development perspective.

Federation of Small Businesses

FSB is a membership service offering advice, financial expertise, support and a power voice in government. Their mission is to help small businesses achieve their ambitions. They have a particular interest in support available for young business people in Wales.

Development Bank of Wales

The Development Bank of Wales was set up by the Welsh Government to support the economy of Wales by making it easier for businesses to get the finance needed to start up, strengthen and grow, which will in turn support youth entrepreneurship. 

Menter a Busnes

Menter a Busnes is an independent company that helps individuals, businesses and organisations in Wales contribute towards developing the economy, offering entrepreneurship awareness, business start-up and business growth support. They have a particular interest in support available for young business people in Wales.

Micro-Tyco

Micro-Tyco is a month-long enterprise challenge from WildHearts Group that enables participants to practice and learn fundamental business principles in a safe, 'micro' environment. Teams from schools, universities or businesses have one month to turn £1 seed capital into as much money as possible.

Shell Live Wire

Shell LiveWIRE is the UK's biggest online community for young entrepreneurs aged 16-30, offering Start-up news, advice and funding for business ideas that address the UK's transport, energy, natural resource or urban development needs.

Menter Mon

Menter Môn was established to deliver EU rural development programmes on Ynys Môn. Their youth project, FFIWS, aims to provide an understanding of the basic stages of product development by offering young entrepreneurs support and resources through weekly academies, a Fabrication Laboratory (FABLab) and a bursary fund.

Young Enterprise

Empowers young people to harness their personal and business skills. They make the connection between school and the world of work, enabling young people to develop the knowledge and attitudes they need to succeed.

UnLtd

UnLtd's mission is to reach out and unleash the energies of people who can transform the world in which they live. Through their competitive Awards Programme they offer support for Social Entrepreneurs of all ages at various stages of their journey.

Urdd

Urdd Gobaith Cymru's aim is to provide the opportunity, through the medium of Welsh, for the children and young people in Wales to become fully rounded individuals, developing personal and social skills that will enable them to make a positive contribution to the community.

Wales Cooperative Centre

The Wales Cooperative Centre works towards creating a better, fairer, more co-operative Wales. They are a national agency supporting community regeneration, economic development and social justice through co-operative solutions, which will benefit young people in Wales.

World Skills

WorldSkills is the global hub for skills excellence and development. Their BeChangeMaker project is an online social entrepreneurial skill training project that enables youth with skills and great ideas to explore their career potential as a social entrepreneur.
