- After graduating from Trinity College, Carmarthen with a degree in Humanities, she began her career as a journalist for Y Cymro. This sparked her interest in writing. During her time with Y Cymro, Lowri developed a working relationship with members of the bilingual press in Wales and beyond. She progressed to the role of Deputy Editor.
- Her work as a journalist involved a lot of travelling, so in 2000 she started working freelance from home. Since then, Lowri has worked for numerous papers including the Western Mail, Daily Post, Welsh Living, Golwg, Y Cymro, Cymru’r Byd, Denbighshire Free Press and the Cambrian News. In 2006, Lowri established her own company, LR, offering a variety of services from promotional projects to writing statements.
- Lowri was appointed an Agrisgôp leader in 2013.
