Focus Site Project:Exploring the benefits of an egg palletising robot, focusing on health and safety for the egg producer
Project aims:
- To evaluate the efficiencies of a robotic system for egg packing
- Compare the robotic system against manual lifting methods from both a physical and financial perspective
- Review the health and safety situation with and without the use of the robotic system
- A cost-benefit analysis will be completed to identify financial benefit of either system
