This course is a 3-hour training workshop and a certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the workshop. Workshops are delivered by local vet practices pan Wales.

Workshop attendees will learn about the clinical signs, transmission and diagnosis/monitoring of Johne’s disease. The main focus will be on biosecurity and biocontainment strategies that can be implemented in consultation with their veterinary surgeon to minimise the risk of Johne’s disease being introduced into a naïve herd, or to reduce the spread of disease if it is already present on farm.
Prevention of introduction and spread of Johne’s disease will result in increased herd health, productivity and profitability.
