A Welsh Government minister has said she has “high hopes” for the future of Wales’ wine industry following the success of the first Welsh Wine Week.

As part of the Board’s mission to facilitate direct engagement between businesses and the Welsh Government, and to help achieve the best success for the industry in Wales, a webinar will be hosted Wednesday, August 5th, at 4.30pm to communicate and have an open discussion about the Covid-19 Recovery Plan.

A series of priority actions to support Wales’ world class food and drink industry recover from the impact of Covid19 have today [Wednesday 29 July] been jointly published by the Welsh Government and the Food and Drink Wales Industry Board.

After joining their first virtual trade webinar during lockdown a Denbighshire bakery, Henllan Bread, has struck gold securing a three month contract to supply a supermarket chain in Qatar with high hopes of moving into other regions.
