Join the 18th annual UKAFP online conference designed for food and drink industry professionals.

The UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement secured tariff-free trade for businesses trading between the UK and EU following the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020. However, to qualify for this tariff and quota-free trade, firms need to comply with Rules of Origin specified by the deal. This one-hour webinar will give an overview of these new rules.

Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is a process that combines plant science, engineering and technology to optimise plant growing, plant quality and production efficiency to provide a truly sustainable system of food growing. To date the approaches to CEA have been vastly different, un-co-ordinated and largely un-supported. Siop.io is a local bilingual e-commerce platform that has been developed over the past year in order to provide a better way for independent food and drink retailers across Gwynedd and Anglesey to reach their local communities.
